Second Guest Room Reveal

FTRB guest room

Although you have seen the second guest room in the HOME Magazine feature by now, I wanted to give it a good old fashioned blog reveal since it never really got its¬†15 minute. ūüôā ¬†Here’s a short and sweet look…..

FTRB Guest Room

It all began with the fun¬†C’est Magnifique wallpaper…..

I was so excited when the wallpaper was being installed I could hardly stand it. After over a year, it still makes me smile when I go in the room.

I enjoyed¬†decorating this room so much because it gave me the opportunity to use many of my favorite¬†patterns. I think this may be my favorite¬†combination of patterns I’ve ever put together…..

Pillows are in Les Touches¬†and Gillian’s Zebras¬†(both from Brunschwig & Fils), the drapes were made from Sofia¬†fabric from Ikea. If you need a medium weight striped fabric, you can’t beat it!¬†I searched everywhere for bedding with a black scallop and found it at¬†PB Teen of all places(!) They don’t seem to carry this one anymore but¬†I love¬†this striped one with ruffled edges¬†if you’re looking for something similar.

The iron bed is an antique, the chair is from Zentique, the rattan table is vintage that I spray painted and I think the lamp was from West Elm. (It’s really old and I’m not 100% sure.)¬†The sconces were already here and I just added some random red trim from my stash to the shades to jazz them up a bit.

And there you have it – the long awaited guest room reveal. So long awaited in fact that you probably forgot all about it, right? Thanks for stopping by today as always. I’ll be back soon with a farmhouse update.

  1. First time to see your blog. This guest room is charming! Now settling in to that second cup of coffee to visit all your posts. The mix of patterns is so refreshing, and perfect for a guest room, where a bit of fun is such a happy note, even if the overall home has neutrals, like I am moving toward.
Thank you for sharing your ideas

    1. Thank you so much, Sharon, and welcome to FTRB! I completely agree with you that certain rooms give us the chance to let loose a little more than others. Thanks again for visiting, it’s nice to have you here!
