One Room Challenge, Week 2

So, last week, I showed you my inspiration for the master bedroom and today I want to show you how I’m translating that and the pieces I will be using to make it all happen.

Just looking at this plan makes me giddy! Let’s break it down….

Aranami Wallpaper, Farrow & Ball
The most gorgeous block printed wallpaper.

Woven Accent Bed, ATG Stores
A little French without being too froufrou.

Linen Bedding, Pine Cone Hill
Ultimate luxury and comfort.

Wool Opulence Carpet, Karastan
Soft, luxurious and environmentally friendly to boot.

Slice Side Chair, All Modern
An homage to my hero Pierre Paulin. (Did you see my last post?)

Modway Side Table, ATG Stores
The perfect tulip style table to accompany the chair.

Koge Wall Lamp, ATG Stores
A nod to my all-time favorite Serge Mouille lighting.

Antique Night Stands
I have a pair that I’m pretty certain I want to paint white. But I’m going to wait until some pieces are in place before busting out the paint just to be 100% sure.

The other thing I haven’t worked out yet is the accessories. I’ll fill you in as we move along but they will be minimal because I don’t want the room to be too busy.

The window treatments, art above the bed, chandelier and the vanity will stay as is.

So that’s the plan! Some of the pieces have started arriving and the wallpaper is going to be installed this weekend. So by next week’s post, the room is already going to look very different. So. Exciting! In the meantime, I’ll be sure to post progress in real time on Instagram (@FromTheRightBank).

I’m loving seeing what the other participants are planning too……
