So My House Is Going to Be Published…..

I finally have some news to share with you today about the publication of my house! 1) It is going to be published in Atlanta Magazine’s HOME; 2) It will most likely be this fall; and 3) I am elated! If you aren’t familiar with HOME, first of all, it’s a print magazine (hooray!) and since relaunching last spring, it has consistently featured beautiful homes that feel really fresh. Let me give you a glimpse at what it’s all about so you can see why I’m so thrilled.

From the bold and colorful home of Susan Hable (of Hable Construction) at the top and here…..

to the elegant and serene spaces by Nancy Braithwaite…..

to the warm, classic home of Don and Pam Sessions…..

to author James Farmer’s chic country house…..

I’m beyond honored that my own home will be in such good company!

And in case you missed it, HOME has a fun column where a designer or blogger illustrates what is inspiring them at the moment through a moodboard. I was delighted to be featured in the past winter’s issue…..

You can see more of that column here.

Having my house published truly feels like a watershed event in FTRB’s history. Who would have guessed when I started blogging seven years ago that this is where we would be now? It’s been an incredible ride and I want to take a moment to say a special thank you to my longtime readers for coming along on this very lengthy journey with me. I feel like we did this together!

In the next couple of months, I’ll share with you all the behind-the-scenes fun as it happens. And of course, you’ll be the first to see the published article so please stay tuned…..
